Environmental Crisis and Theology

Climate change and environmental crisis are challenging our conventional way of life and politics. But what are their implications on theology? When theology is the critical reflection on the relevance of faith, then it is deeply challenged by the environmental crisis as well: Can we still believe in the promise of God that “never again all life will be cut off”(Gen 9.11)? How can we theologically speak of the “end of times” considering the possible destruction of our environment?

The conference discussed possible responses to these new challenges for theology.
