"After several months of suspense, the European Council finally adopted, in the middle of the night of October 23rd, the 2030 Energy and Climate Package. The initial proposal of the European Commission published in January of this year was already disappointing and the member states did everything to make it more useless, even threatening, the day before, to veto the proposal if some short-sighted domestic political demands were not taken into account.
